The Doug Finley Scholars
Every year, The Senator Doug Finley Memorial Fund selects young conservatives to become Doug Finley Scholars. These young activists are then provided with an expense-paid trip for international campaign training.
Successful Doug Finley Scholars should be hardworking, thoughtful, and passionate.
For interested applicants, we request that you submit a resume with 2 conservative movement references. These can be Members of Parliament, Regional Organizers, EDA Members, or even past Doug Finley Scholars.
In addition, applicants are asked to submit an essay (no more than 5 pages) on the strategy and tactics that they would use to win a riding of their choice, that a conservative representative (federal, provincial, territorial or municipal) does not currently hold.
Applications are due in May 22, 2020. Applications will be judged by the committee and successful applicants will be chosen by June 5, 2020. Successful applicants will be announced at the Doug Finley Dinner*.
